1.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removethekey.Engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Waitforthemufertocool.
3.Ifanybreaksinthescreenorweldsareobserved,
replacethearrester.
4.Ifpluggingofthescreenisobserved,removethe
arresterandshakeanylooseparticlesoutofthe
arrester,andcleanthescreenwithawirebrush(soakit
insolventifnecessary).Installthesparkarresteronthe
exhaustoutlet.

ReplacingtheFuelFilter
ServiceInterval:Every500hours/Yearly(whichevercomes
rst)(moreoftenindirtyordusty
conditions).
Thefuellterislocatedneartheengineonthefrontorrear
sideoftheengine.
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theneutral-lockedposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Allowthemachinetocooldown.
4.Closethefuel-shutoffvalveundertheseat(Figure54).
