ChangingtheLPGTank
ChangetheLPGtankoutdoorsinawellventilatedarea.
Important:Onlyhandtightentankconnectiontting.
Overtighteningbytheuseoftoolsmaycausedamage.
Ifhandtighteningdoesnotstopaleak,contacttrained
andqualiedpersonnelimmediately.
1.Stopthemachineonlevelground,disengagetheblade
controlswitch(PTO),movethemotioncontrollevers
totheneutrallockedpositionandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Waitforallmovingpartsforthemowerdecktostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Withtheenginerunning,closethefuelvalveonthe
tank.
4.Runtheengineuntilitstops.Thispurgesallvapors
fromthehose.
5.Removethekey.
6.CarefullydisconnecttheLPGfuelhose.

8.Inspectthelledtankvalveandttingopeningsfor
dirt,debris,ordamage.
9.Inspectthetankhoseconnectionttingfordamaged
ormissingo-rings.
10.Makesurethereplacementtanktypeandsizematch
thetankspecicationdecal.
11.Alignthecenterholeoverthemountingpinthatpoints
straightuponthemowerasshowninFigure8.
