solutionaroundallthettingsoftheLPGtank
andthefuelconnectionjoint.
◊Slowlyopenthegasvalveahalf-turn.
◊Ifbubblesaredetected,thejointorttinghas
aleak.Shutoffthevalve,tightentheleaking
connection,andslowlyopenthevalveagain.If
bubblesstillappear,DoNotusethetank.Ifitis
safetodoso,removethetankfromyourmower;
otherwise,contacttrainedandqualiedpersonnel
immediately.
◊Ifnobubblesaredetected,theLPGtankmaybe
used.
•Inspectingweekly:
–ChecktheLPGhoses,regulatorandconnectionsfor
damageordeterioration.
–ChecktheLPGhoses,regulatorandconnectionsfor
leaksatalljointsusingthesamemethodasdescribed
intheprevioussection.
–Followalltheinspectionchecksasspeciedinthe
twopreviousinspectionsections.

–USDOT(UnitedStatesDepartmentof
Transportation)regulationsrequireLPGtankstobe
inspected,requalied,andmarkedwithin12yearsof
themanufacturedateandonaregularbasisthereafter.

controlsthefuelowunderdifferentoperatingconditions.
Theelectroniccontrolunit(ECU)continuouslymonitorsthe
operationoftheEFIsystem.
Ifaproblemorfaultwithinthesystemisdetected,the
malfunctionindicatorlight(MIL)isilluminated.TheMILis
theredlightlocatedintherightconsolepanel.
OncetheMILilluminates,initialtroubleshooting
checksshouldbemade.RefertotheMILsectionunder
Toubleshooting.
Ifthesechecksdonotcorrecttheproblem,furtherdiagnosis
andservicingbyanAuthorizedServiceDealerisnecessary.
