Why doesn't the clutch engage on my Toro Lawn Mower?
- HHeather FosterSep 23, 2025
If the clutch on your Toro Lawn Mower doesn't engage, here are a few things to check: * The fuse may be blown. Replace the fuse. * There could be low voltage supply at the clutch. Check the coil resistance, battery charge, charging system, and wiring connections, and replace components if necessary. * The coil might be damaged. Replace the clutch. * There may be inadequate current supply. Repair or replace the clutch lead wire or electrical system. Clean the connector contacts. * The rotor/armature air gap could be too large. Remove the shim or replace the clutch.
