1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblades(PTO).
3.Settheparkingbrake.
4.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
5.Removetheignitionkey.
6.PullthedrivecontrolouttothePushposition
(
Figure15).
7.Iftherearwheelslockandskidwhenyoupushthe
machineforward,youdonotneedtoadjustthe
brake.Ifthewheelsturnanddonotlock,adjustthe
brake;refertoAdjustingtheBrake.
AdjustingtheBrake
1.Checkthebrakebeforeyouadjustit;referto
CheckingtheBrake.
2.EnsurethatthedrivecontrolisintheOperate
position(Figure15)andthattheparkingbrakeison.
3.Turnthebrakeadjustingnutclockwiseuntilyou
cannotpushthemachine(Figure35).
4.Releasetheparkingbrakeandensurethattherear
wheelsrotatefreelywhenyoupushthemachine.
Iftheydonot,turnthebrakeadjustingnut
counterclockwisejustenoughsothatyoucanpush
themachine.
5.Checkthebrakeoperationagain;refertoChecking
theBrake.
