13.Removeandinspectthesparkplug;refertoServicing
theSparkPlug.Withthesparkplugremovedfrom
theengine,pour2tablespoonsofengineoilintothe
sparkplughole.Usetheelectricstartertocrank
theengineanddistributetheoilinsidethecylinder.
Installthesparkplug,butdonotconnectthewireto
thesparkplug.
14.Disconnectthenegativebatterycable.Cleanthe
batteryandbatteryterminals.Checktheelectrolyte
levelandchargeitfully;refertoServicingtheBattery.
Leavethenegativebatterycabledisconnectedfrom
thebatteryduringstorage.
Important:Thebatterymustbefullycharged
topreventitfromfreezingandbeingdamaged
attemperaturesbelow32°F(0°C).Youcanstore
afullychargedbatteryduringthewinterwithout
recharging.
15.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.Repair
orreplaceanypartthatiswornordamaged.
16.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaceswithpaint
availablefromanAuthorizedServiceDealer.
17.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageorstorage
area.RemovetheignitionandKeyChoicekeysfrom
themowerandkeeptheminamemorableplace.
Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepitclean.
