Beforeeachuse,checkthebrakesonalevelsurfaceandslope.
Alwayssettheparkingbrakewhenyoustopthemachineor
leaveitunattended.
Important:Iftheparkingbrakedoesnotholdsecurely,
anadjustmentisrequired.
CheckingtheParkingBrake
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengagethePTO.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Releasethebrake.
Note:Thebrakebarsshouldliftoffthetiresandthe
handlevershouldtravelforwardtotheendoftheslot
inthecontrolpanel.
Note:Adjustthebrakeifneeded.
4.Engagethebrakeleveruntilthebrakebarsrstcontact
thetire(Figure65).
5.Measurethegapfromthefrontofthehandleverto
theendoftheslotinthecontrolpanelwhenthebrake
barcontactsthetire(Figure65).
Note:Thismeasurementneedstobe19mm(3/4
inch).
Note:Adjustthebrakeifneeded.
