gasketcompoundsaredesignedtobeappliedtocleansurfacesfreeof
oil,chemicalresidueandpreviouslyusedgasketsorgasketcompounds.
SILICONESEALANT
Designedforabroadvarietyofsealingandbondingrequirements,
siliconesealantsareusuallyroomtemperaturevulcanizing(RTV)which
formaexiblesiliconerubberthatbondstoawidevarietyofsmoothor
porousmaterialswhencured.Standardsiliconesealantsaredesignedto
performintemperaturesfrom-51Fto232C(-60Fto400F),whilehigh
temperaturevariantscanpreformintemperaturesupto343C(650F).
