Thetractiondrumisdrivenbyseriesofspurgearsinsidethetransmissiongear
boxassembly.T odisengagethetractiondrumdrivefromthetransmission,do
thefollowingprocedure:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.EnsurethattheengineisOFF .Remove
thesparkplugwirefromtheenginesparkplug.
2.Locatethetractionengage/disengageleverontopofthetransmissiongear
boxassembly.
3.Todisengagethedrumdrive,rotatethetractionengage/disengagelever
toclockwisedirection(awayfromthecenteroftransmissiongearbox
assembly).
4.Toengagethedrumdrive,rotatethetractionengage/disengageleverto
anti-clockwisedirection(towardsthecenterofthetransmissiongearbox
assembly).
5.Attachthesparkplugwiretothesparkplug.
