ComponentTesting
Foraccurateresistanceand/orcontinuitychecks,electricallydisconnectthe
componentbeingtestedfromthecircuit(e.g.unplugtheON/OFFswitch
connectorbeforedoingacontinuitycheck).Individualcomponentsshouldbe
electronicallyisolated(e.g.disconnectallleadsorremovethecircuit)fromthe
circuitwhentested.

CAUTION
Whentestingtheelectricalcomponentsforthecontinuitywitha
multimeter(ohmsetting),ensurethatthepowertothecircuithas
beendisconnected.
WARNING
Theignitionsystemproducesadangerouslyhighvoltage.Donot
touchthesparkplugleadignitioncoil,igniter,orsparkpluglead
whiletheengineisrunning;youcanreceiveasevereelectrical
shock.
