1.EnsurethattheengineisOFF .Carefullyremovethesparkplugwirefromthe
sparkplug.
2.Cleanthecylinderheadareaaroundthesparkplugandremovetheplug
fromthecylinderhead.
3.Inspectthesparkplug.
IMPORTANT
Replaceacracked,fouledordirtysparkplug.Donotsandblast,
scrapeorcleansparkplugelectrodesbecauseenginedamagecould
resultfromgritentercylinder.
4.Setsparkplugelectrodegapfrom0.7to0.8mm.
5.Installcorrectlygappedsparkplugintothecylinderheadandtorquethe
sparkplugto23N·m(17ft−lb).
6.Connectthesparkplugwiretothesparkplug.
