WARNING
Ensurethatthecuttingunitsarefullyloweredbeforeloosening
anyofthemachinehydrauliclines.Ifcuttingunitsarenotfully
loweredasthehydrauliclinesareloosened,thecuttingunitmay
dropunexpectedly.
Note:T oeaseassembly,labelallhydraulichosespriortodisassemblyto
identifytheircorrectpositionontheliftcylinder(item2inFigure28).
3.Disconnectthehydraulichosesfromtheliftcylinderttings.Putcapsor
plugsonttingsandhosestopreventcontamination.T aghydrauliclines
forproperassembly.
4.Removethesnaprings(5),washers(6)andpin(7)thatsecuresthelift
cylinder(2)totheliftarmassembly(3).
5.Removethebolt(11)thatsecurestheliftcylinderpinassembly(10)to
machineframeandremovetheliftcylinderpinassembly(10).
6.Removetheliftcylinder(2)fromthemachine.
7.RemovethecylinderttinganddiscardtheO-rings.
InstallingtheCuttingUnitLiftCylinder
1.Ifttingswereremovedfromthecylinder,lubricateandplacenewO-rings
ontothettings.Installthettingsontocylinderportsusingmarksmade
duringtheremovalprocesstoproperlyorientatettings.
2.Positiontheliftcylinder(2)ontotheframeassemblyandsecurewiththelift
cylinderpinassembly(10)withthebolt(11).
3.Positiontheliftcylinder(2)intotheliftarmassembly(3)andsecurewiththe
pin(7),washers(6)andsnaprings(5).
4.Removethecapsorplugsfromthehydraulicttingsandattachethe
hydraulichosestotheliftcylinder.
5.Lubricatetheliftcylindergreasettings.
6.Beforereturningthemachinetoservice,operatetheliftcylinderfromstop
tostoptoverifythatthehydraulichosesandttingsarenotcontactedby
anything.
7.Checkthehydraulicsystemforleaksandrepairasnecessary.
