1.Removethecuttingunitdriveshaftfromthemachine;refertoRemovingthe
CuttingUnitDriveShafts(page5–5).
2.Removethesnaprings(3)thatsecurethebearingsintheyokes.
IMPORTANT
Supporttheyokeswhenremovingandinstallingthebearingsto
preventdamage.
3.Useapresstoremovethecrossandbearings(2)fromtheyokes.
4.Cleanthedriveshaftyoke(4)andendyoke(1).
5.Inspectthedriveshaftyoke(4)andendyoke(1)forwear,pittingorother
noticeabledamage.Replacethepartsthatarewornordamaged.
