Thecharge-indicatorlightilluminateswhenthe
charging-systemcircuitmalfunctions(Figure7).
Oil-PressureWarningLight
Theoil-pressurewarninglightglowsiftheengine-oil
pressuredropsbelowasafelevel(Figure7).Ifthe
oilpressureislow,shutofftheengineanddetermine
thecause.Repairtheengine-oilsystembeforeyou
starttheengineagain.
SteeringSelectorSwitch

engage4-wheelsteeringandforwardtoreturnto

UnderstandingtheDiagnostic
Light

Themachinecomeswithadiagnosticlightthat
indicatesiftheelectroniccontrollersensesan
electronicmalfunction.Thediagnosticlightislocated
onthecontrolpanel(Figure9).Whentheelectronic
controllerisfunctioningcorrectlyandthekeyswitch
ismovedtotheONposition,thecontrollerdiagnostic
lightturnsonfor3secondsandturnofftoindicatethat
thelightisworkingproperly.Iftheengineshutsoff,the
lightturnsonsteadyuntilyouchangethekeyposition.
Thelightblinksifthecontrollerdetectsamalfunction
intheelectricalsystem.Thelightstopsblinkingand
automaticallyresetswhenyouturnthekeyswitchto
theOFFpositionwhenthefaulthasbeenresolved.

•Anoutputhasbeenshorted.
•Anoutputhasanopencircuit.
Usethediagnosticacedisplaytodeterminewhich
outputismalfunctioning.
Ifthediagnosticlightdoesnotcomeonwhenthekey
switchisintheONposition,thisindicatesthatthe
electroniccontrollerisnotoperating.Possiblecauses
areasfollows:
•Thelightisburnedout.
•Thefusesareblown.
•Theelectroniccontrollerisnotfunctioning
correctly.
Checktheelectricalconnections,inputfuses,and
diagnosticlightbulbtodeterminethemalfunction.
Ensurethattheloop-backconnectorissecuredtothe
wire-harnessconnector.
