VerifyingtheOutputFunction
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
attachment,shutofftheengine,andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Raisetheseat.
3.Locatewireharnessandconnectorsnearthe
controller.
4.Carefullyunplugtheloopbackconnectorfrom
theharnessconnector.
5.ConnecttheDiagnosticACEconnectortothe
appropriateharnessconnector.Ifthemachine
comeswithafrontattachment,itwillhave2
controllers.
Note:Ensurethatthecorrectoverlaydecalis
positionedontheDiagnosticACE.
6.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONposition,butdo
notstarttheengine.
Note:Theredtextontheoverlaydecalrefers
toinputswitchesandthegreentextrefersto
outputs.
7.The“inputsdisplayed”LED,onthelower
rightcolumnoftheDiagnosticACE,should
beilluminated.Ifthe“outputsdisplayed”
LEDisilluminated,pressthetogglebutton
ontheDiagnosticACEtochangeitto“inputs
displayed.”
Note:Youmayneedtotogglebetween“inputs
displayed”and“outputsdisplayed”severaltimes
todothefollowingstep.Totogglebackand
forth,pressthetogglebuttononce.Dothisas
oftenasnecessary;donotholdthebutton.
8.Sitontheseatandattempttooperatethe
desiredfunctionofthemachine.Theappropriate
outputLEDsshouldilluminatetoindicatethat
theECMisturningonthatfunction.
Note:IfthecorrectoutputLEDsdonotilluminate,
verifythattherequiredinputswitchesareinthe
necessarypositionstoallowthatfunctiontooccur.
Verifythecorrectswitchfunction.
IftheoutputLEDsareonasspeciedbutthe
machinedoesnotfunctionproperly,thisindicatesa
non-electricalproblem;repairasneeded.
Note:Ifeachoutputswitchisinthecorrectposition
andfunctioningcorrectlybuttheoutputLEDsare
notcorrectlyilluminated,thisindicatesanECM
problem.Ifthisoccurs,contactyourToroDistributor
forassistance.
Important:DonotleavetheDiagnosticACE
displayconnectedtothemachine.Itisnot
designedtowithstandtheenvironmentofthe
everydayuseofthemachine.Afterusingthe
DiagnosticACE,disconnectitfromthemachine
andconnecttheloop-backconnectortothe
wire-harnessconnector.Themachinecannot
operatewithouttheloopbackconnectorinstalled
onthewireharness.StoretheDiagnosticACE
indry,securelocationintheshop,notonthe
machine.
