1.Onthelastrefuelingoftheyear,addfuel
stabilizertothefuelasdirectedbytheengine
manufacturer.
2.Runthemachineuntiltheengineshutsofffrom
runningoutoffuel.
3.Starttheengineagainandallowittorununtil
itshutsoff.Whenyoucannolongerstartthe
engine,thefuelsystemisempty.
4.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
5.Removethesparkplug,add30ml(1oz)
ofoilthroughthespark-plughole,andpull
therecoil-startergripslowlyseveraltimesto
distributeoilthroughoutthecylinder.
6.Installthesparkplugandtorqueitto20N∙m(15
ft-lb).
7.Checkthebladeforwearordamage.Ifthe
bladeisdull,haveitsharpened;ifthebladeis
damaged,replaceit.
8.Tightenallnuts,bolts,andscrews.
9.Storethemachineinacool,clean,dryplace.
