whenyouturnoneormoreboomsoff.RefertoCalibratingtheBoomBypassValvessectionintheOperationsection.

Procedure
Important:Operatingthespraysystemwiththeboom
hingespringsundertheincorrectcompressioncould
damagetheboomassembly.Measurethespringsand
usethejamnuttocompressthespringsto3.96cm(1.56
inches),ifnecessary.
Thesprayerisshippedwiththeboomextensionsswung
forwardtofacilitatepackagingofthemachine.Thesprings
arenotfullytightenedatthetimeofmanufacturetoallowthe
boomstobeinthispositionfortransit.Beforeoperatingthe
machine,adjustthespringstothecorrectcompression.
1.Ifnecessary,removethepackingcomponentsthat
securetherightandleftextensionboomsduring
shipping.
2.Supporttheboomswhiletheyareextendedtothe
sprayposition.
3.Attheboomhinge,measurethecompressionofthe
upperandlowerspringswhiletheboomsareintheir
extendedposition(Figure3).

(1.56inches).
B.Usethejamnuttocompressanyspringthat
