Air
Filter
Replace
the air filter once every season or every 25 hours;
replace it more frequently under dusty conditions.
IMPORTANT
: Do not operate the engine without the
air filter element; extr
eme engine damage will occur
.
Models 20010, 20020, 20021, and 20028
1. Stop
the engine and pull the wire of
f of the spark plug
(Fig. 18).
2.
Loosen the screw securing the air cleaner cover
(Fig. 15).
3. T
ilt the cover down and clean it thoroughly (Fig. 15).

the paper air filter and discard it (Fig. 15).
IMPORTANT
: Do not try to clean a paper filter

5.
Insert a new paper air cleaner filter (Fig. 15).
6.
Install the air cleaner cover and secure it with the
screw.
Model 20060
1. Stop
the engine and pull the wire of
f of the spark plug
(Fig. 18).
2.
Remove the nut securing the air cleaner cover
(Fig. 16).
3.
Remove the cover and clean it thoroughly (Fig. 16).

4. Remove
the foam pre–cleaner and wash it with a mild
deter
gent and water
, then blot it dry (Fig. 16).
5.
Saturate the precleaner with oil, then squeeze it (do
not twist) to remove excess oil.
6.
Remove the paper air filter and discard it (Fig. 16).
IMPORTANT
: Do not try to clean a paper filter
.
7.
Insert a new paper air cleaner filter
.
8.
Insert the foam pre-cleaner into the cover and install
the cover on the engine, securing it with the nut
(Fig. 16).
Draining
Gasoline
1. Stop
the engine and wait for it to cool.
IMPORTANT
: Drain gasoline fr
om a cold engine only
.
2.
Pull the wire off of the spark plug (Fig. 18).
3.
Remove the cap from the fuel tank and use a
pump-type syphon to drain the fuel into a clean gas
can.
