4.Applyalightcoatofcleanoiltothenewlter
seal.
5.Installthereplacementoilltertothelter
adapter.Turntheoillterclockwiseuntilthe
rubbergasketcontactsthelteradapter,then
tightenthelteranadditional1/2turn.
Important:Donotover-tightenthelter.
6.Addoiltothecrankcase;refertoCheckingthe
Engine-OilLevel(page36).
AdjustingtheThrottle
1.Positionthethrottleleverforwardsoitis
approximately3mm(1/8inch)fromthefrontof
thecontrolarmslot.
2.Loosenthethrottlecableconnector,onthe
throttlecable,nexttotheinjection-pumplever
(Figure52).

4.Whilepullingthethrottlecable,tightenthe

Note:Whentightened,thecablepivotmustbe
freetoswivelontheinjection-pump-leverarm.
5.Ifthethrottledoesnotstayinpositionduring
operation,increasethetorqueonthelocknut
usedtosetthefrictiondeviceonthethrottle
lever.
