Changing the Engine-Oil Filter
Service Interval : Every 200 hours —Change the
engine-oil lter (more often in dirty
or dusty conditions).
1. Drain the oil from the engine; refer to Changing
the Engine Oil ( page 32 ) .
2. Change the engine-oil lter ( Figure 39 ).

Note: Ensure that the oil-lter gasket touches
the engine, and then turn the oil lter an extra
3/4 turn.
3. Fill the crankcase with the proper type of new
oil ( Figure 38 ).
