Washtheundersideofthemoweraftereachuseto
preventgrassbuildupforimprovedmulchactionand
clippingdispersal.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewithmild
detergentandwater.Donotpressurewashthe
machine.Avoidexcessiveuseofwater,especially
nearthecontrolpanel,undertheseat,andaround
theengine,hydraulicpumps,andmotors.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceand
disengagetheblade-controlswitch.
2.Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardtothe
PARKposition,shutofftheengine,removethe
key,andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbefore
leavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Attachthehosecouplingtotheendofthe
mower-washoutttingandturnthewateron
high(Figure64).
Note:Spreadpetroleumjellyonthewashout
ttingO-ringtomakethecouplingslideon
easierandtoprotecttheO-ring.

Then,repeattheprocess.
9.Runthemoweragainfor1to3minutesto
removeexcesswater.

Abrokenormissingwashouttting
couldexposeyouandotherstothrown
objectsorbladecontact,causinginjury
ordeath.
•Replacebrokenormissingwashout
ttingimmediatelybeforeusing
moweragain.
•Neverputyourhandsorfeetunder
