4.Usinganoilcan,addabout30ml(1oz),of
motoroiltotheenginethroughthespark-plug
hole.
5.Slowlypullthestarterropeseveraltimesto
distributeoilthroughoutthecylinder.
6.Installthesparkplugbutdonotconnectthewire
tothesparkplug.Securethewiresothatitdoes
notcomeintocontactwiththesparkplug.

1.Unfoldthehandle;refertoAdjustingtheHandle

2.Checkandtightenallfasteners.
3.Removethesparkplugandspintheengine
rapidlyusingthestartertoblowexcessoilfrom
thecylinder.
4.Inspectthesparkplugandreplaceitifitisdirty,
worn,orcracked;refertotheengineowner’s
manual.
5.Installthesparkplugandtightenittothe
recommendedtorqueof20N∙m(15ft-lb).
