1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.
2.Removethedipstickbyrotatingthecap
counterclockwiseandpullingitout(Figure6).

4.Wait3minutesfortheoiltosettleintheengine.
5.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.
6.Insertthedipstickintotheoil-lltube,then
removethedipstick.
7.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick(Figure6).
Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoolow,
carefullypourasmallamountofoilintothe
oil-lltube,wait3minutes,andrepeatsteps
5through7untiltheoilonthedipstickisat
thecorrectlevel.
Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoohigh,drain
theexcessoiluntiltheoilonthedipstickis
atthecorrectlevel;refertoChangingthe
EngineOil(page19).
Important:Iftheoillevelintheengineistoo
lowortoohighandyouruntheengine,you
maydamagetheengine.
8.Installthedipstickintotheoil-lltubesecurely.
Important:Changetheengineoilaftertherst5
operatinghours;changeityearlythereafter.Refer
toChangingtheEngineOil(page19).
