ThethrottlecontrolisvariablebetweenFastandSlow.
Movingthrottleleverforwardwillincreaseenginespeed
andmovingthrottlelevertotherearwilldecreaseengine
speed.Movingthethrottleforwardintothedetentis
fullthrottle(

Choke
Usethechoketostartacoldengine.Pullthechoke
knobuptoengageit.Pushdownonthechokeknob
todisengageit.
BladeControlSwitch(PowerTake-Off)
Thebladecontrolswitch,representedbyapower
take-off(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengagespower
tothemowerblades(Figure7).
HourMeter
Thehourmeterrecordsthenumberofhourstheblades
haveoperated.Itoperateswhenthebladecontrol
switch(PTO)isengaged.Usethesetimesforscheduling
regularmaintenance(Figure7).
FuelGauge
Thefuelwindowlocatedbelowtheoperatorposition
canbeusedtoverifythelevelofgasolineinthetank
(Figure8).

MotionControlLevers
Themotioncontrolleversarespeedsensitivecontrolsof
independentwheelmotors.Movingaleverforwardor
backwardturnsthewheelonthesamesideforwardorin
reverse;wheelspeedisproportionaltotheamountthe
leverismoved.Movethecontrolleversoutwardfrom
thecentertotheneutrallockpositionandbeforeexiting
themachine(
Figure5).Alwayspositionthemotion
controlleversintotheneutrallockpositionwhenyou
stopthemachineorleaveitunattended.
ParkingBrakeLever
Locatedonleftsideoftheconsole(Figure5).Thebrake
leverengagesaparkingbrakeonthedrivewheels.Pull
theleverupandrearwardtoengagethebrake.Pushthe
leverforwardanddowntodisengagethebrake.
FootPedalDeckLiftSystem
Thefootpedaldeckliftsystemallowstheoperator
tolowerandraisethedeckfromtheseatedposition.
Theoperatorcanusethefootpedaltoliftthedeck
brieytoavoidobstaclesorlockthedeckinthehighest
height-of-cutortransportposition(Figure5).
