orwater.Wheelsdroppingoveredgescancause

UsingtheRolloverProtectionSystem
(ROPS)
•Keeptherollbarintheraisedandlockedposition
andusetheseatbeltwhenoperatingthemachine.
•Becertainthattheseatbeltcanbereleasedquickly
intheeventofanemergency.
•Beawarethereisnorolloverprotectionwhenthe
rollbarisdown.
•Checktheareatobemowedandneverfoldthe
ROPSinareaswherethereareslopes,dropoffsor
water.
•Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutelynecessary.
Donotweartheseatbeltwiththerollbarfolded
down.
•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances(i.e.
branches,doorways,electricalwires)beforedriving
underanyobjectsanddonotcontactthem.
Children
Tragicaccidentscanoccuriftheoperatorisnotalertto
thepresenceofchildren.Childrenareoftenattractedto
themachineandthemowingactivity.Neverassumethat
childrenwillremainwhereyoulastsawthem.
•Keepchildrenoutofthemowingareaandunderthe
watchfulcareofanotherresponsibleadult,notthe
operator.
•Bealertandturnthemachineoffifchildrenenter
thearea.
•Beforeandwhilebackingorchangingdirection,look
behind,down,andside-to-sideforsmallchildren.
•Nevercarrychildren,evenwiththebladesoff.They
mayfalloffandbeseriouslyinjuredorinterferewith
safemachineoperation.
•Childrenwhohavebeengivenridesinthepastmay
suddenlyappearinthemowingareaforanotherride
andberunoverorbackedoverbythemower.
•Neverallowchildrentooperatethemachine.
•Useextracarewhenapproachingblindcorners,
shrubs,trees,theendofafenceorotherobjectsthat
mayobscurevision.
Towing
Ahitchkitisavailableforthismachineandcanbe
obtainedbycontactinganAuthorizedToroDealer.
Donottowwithoutrstinstallingthismanufacturer
approvedhitch.Thefollowingguidelinesapplywhen
towingwiththeapprovedhitchkitinstalled.
•Towonlywithamachinethathasahitchdesigned
fortowing.Donotattachtowedequipmentexcept
atthehitchpoint.
•Followthemanufacturer'srecommendationfor
weightlimitsfortowedequipmentandtowingon
slopes.
•Neverallowchildrenorothersinorontowed
equipment.
•Onslopes,theweightofthetowedequipmentmay
causelossoftractionandlossofcontrol.
•Travelslowlyandallowextradistancetostop.
