7.Setanti-scalprollerstotopholesorremove
completelyforthisadjustment.
8.Settheheight-of-cutlevertothe3inch(76mm)
position.Placetwo21/2inch(6.35cm)thickblocks
undertherearedgeofthecuttingdeckskirt;oneon
eachsideofthecuttingdeck.Placetwo25/16inch
(5.89cm)blocksundereachsideofthefrontedgeof
thedeck,butnotundertheanti-scalprollerbrackets.
9.Carefullyrotatethebladessidetoside(Figure43).
10.Loosenthelevelingadjustlockingnuts(item4)on
allfourcornerssothatthedeckissittingsecurelyon
allfourblocks.Makesurethatthedeckhangersare
allthewaydown(atthetopoftheslot)andthedeck
liftfootleverispushedbackagainstthestop,then
tightenthefourlevelingadjustlockingnuts
11.Recheckthatblockstjustsnuglyunderthedeck
skirt.Makesureallattachmentboltsaretight
12.Continuelevelingthedeckbycheckingthe
front-to-rearbladeslope;refertotheAdjustingthe
Front-to-RearBladeSlopesection.
13.Recheckbladesforlevelnessandrepeatdeckleveling
procedureifnecessary.

thebladecontrolswitch.
3.Movethemotioncontrolleversoutwardtothe
neutralposition,engagetheparkingbrake,stopthe
engine,removethekey,andwaitforallmovingparts
tostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
4.Checktheairpressureofallfourtires.Ifneeded,
adjusttotherecommendedination;refertothe
CheckingtheTirePressuresectioninDriveSystem
Maintenance.
5.Checkandadjusttheside-to-sidebladelevelifyou
havenotcheckedthesetting;refertotheLeveling
theMowersection.
6.Settheheight-of-cutlevertothe3inch(76mm)
position.Placetwo21/2inch(6.35cm)thickblocks
undertherearedgeofthecuttingdeckskirt;oneon
