allmovingpartstostopbeforeaccessingthe
drive-wheelreleasevalves.
WARNING
Theengineandhydraulicdriveunitscan
becomeveryhot.Touchingahotengineor
hydraulicdriveunitscancausesevereburns.
Waitfortheengineandhydraulicdriveunits
tocoolcompletelybeforeaccessingthe
drive-wheelreleasevalves.
Thedrive-wheelreleasevalvesarelocatedinthe
backofeachhydraulicdriveunit,undertheseat.
Note:Makesurethatthereleasevalvesareinthe
fullyhorizontalpositionwhenoperatingthemachine
orseveredamagetothehydraulicsystemcanoccur.
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO)and
turntheignitionkeytooff.Movetheleverstothe
NEUTRAL-LOCKpositionandapplytheparking
brake.Removethekey.
2.Rotatetherelease-valveleversverticallytopush
themachine(Figure33).
Note:Thisallowshydraulicoiltobypassthe
pump,enablingthewheelstoturn.
3.Disengagetheparkingbrakebeforepushing
themachine.
