ReplacingthePump-Drive
Belt
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,movethe
speed-controllevertotheNEUTRALposition,
disengagethePTO,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.RemovethePTOBelts;refertoReplacingthe
PTOBelts(page49).
4.Pullthespringidlerorremovethespringto
relievethetensionofthepump-drivebelt.
5.Removetheoldbelt.
6.Routethenewbeltontothesheavesasshown
inthedecallocatedonthebackoftheleftdrive
shield(Figure62).
