beenremovedorreplacedorifthePTOdriveidler
armhasbeendisassembled.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,movethe
speed-controllevertotheNEUTRALposition,
disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),and
engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Locatethebrakespringandthreadthe2jam
nutsouttotheendofthebrake-springrod
(Figure68).
4.Tightenthejamnutstogetheratendofthe
brake-springrod.

5.Closethedoorandpushittightagainstthe
hopper.
6.Tightenthehingehardware.
7.Openthehopperdoorandremovetherubber
strip.
