Using Standby

To put the computer into Standby mode when you press the
power button or close the display panel, you must preset the
mode:
1 Click Start, Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears
2 Click Performance and Maintenance.
3 Double-click the TOSHIBA Power Saver icon.
The TOSHIBA Power Saver Properties window appears.

4 Click Details in the Running on batteries section.
The Full Power Properties window appears
5 Click the System Power Mode tab.
