Programming channels into the TV’s channel
memory
• First, use the Auto Tuning function to preset all
the active channels in your area automatically.
Then, arrange the preset channels with the
Manual Tuning function so that you can tune into
only desired channels.
• Use the Manual Tuning operation if desired
channels cannot be preset with the Auto Tuning
or if you would like to preset channels to speci c
position numbers one by one.

1 From the SETUP menu, press or to select
Auto Tuning.

2 Press OK.
The Auto Tuning menu will appear.

Quick Scan
On
Press or to select Tuning Mode, Scan Type
or Auto Signal Booster and press or to
select an option.
Tuning Mode:
Press or to select DTV and ATV, DTV or
AT V.
Scan Type (only for Tuning Mode DTV and ATV
or DTV mode):
Press or to select Quick Scan or Full Scan.
The Quick Scan is a simpli ed version of the
Full Scan that is designed to complete in less
time.
NOTE:
If you select Full Scan, it takes a long time.
Auto Signal Booster:
Press or to select On or O . If the receiving
signal is weak/strong and the picture is noisy,
the picture may be improved when using this
function.
3 Press to select Start Scan and press OK.
The television will start to search for all available
DTV and/or ATV services.
You must allow the television to complete
the search.
When the search is complete, the Auto Tuning
screen will display the services found.

1 From the SETUP menu, press or to select
ATV Manual Tuning.
2 Press OK to display the ATV Manual Tuning
menu.
Press or to select the programme position
you want to arrange.
