Using the TV’s features
Selecting the stereo programmes
1 When a stereo programme is received,

Selecting the bilingual programmes
1 When a bilingual programme is received,

system: NICAM or German stereo/bilingual
broadcast.

NOTE:
These settings are not stored in the TV memory.
Selecting the monaural programmes
If sound distortion, interruptions or silence arises in
the low sound volume level, setting the eMono 2
mode will mitigate the problem.
1 When a monaural programme is received, e
Mono appears.
2 Press
s
to select a monaural mode that is
easy to hear. e Mono 1 and e Mono 2 appear
cyclically to the screen.
NOTE:
On some cases, the reception of stereo/bilingual
broadcasts may not be possible after switching on the
e Mono 2 mode.
Sound adjustment
Adjusting the sound balance
1 From the SOUND menu, press or to select
the Balance.
2 Press or to adjust the settings as desired.
Using the Sound Mode
Choose your preferred Sound Mode (Auto,
Dynamic, Natural or Clear Voice).
To use the button
1 Press to view the di erent modes available.
To use the Menu
1 From the SOUND menu, press or to select
the Sound Mode.
2 Press or to select Auto, Dynamic, Natural
or Clear Voice.
Adjusting the sound quality
You can adjust the basic sound quality.
NOTE:
This can be set when Sound Mode is set to Dynamic,
Natural or Clear Voice.
1 From the Advanced Sound Settings menu,
press or to select Equaliser, and then
press OK.
2 Press or to select Graphic Equaliser, and
then press OK.
3 Press or to select a frequency band, and
press the or to adjust the level for that
band.
Using the Power Sound Equaliser
1 From the Equaliser menu, press or to
select Power Sound Equaliser, and then press
OK.
2 Press or to select On or O .
Using the Surround
Surround help to create rich and wider sound from
stereo sound sources.
1 From the Advanced Sound Settings menu,
press or to select Surround.
2 Press or to select On or O .
