38 Configuring the Printer Using CUPS
Configuring the printer for USB printing
When you want to set up an USB print queue in the Linux OS, follow the procedures here.
1
Insert the Install Disc into the disc drive.

Log on to the root account.

Install the RPM package with the rpm command.

Enter the following command:
service cups start

Connect to your PC using a USB cable..
