How to Clear a Misfeed (Cont’d.)
Paper Misfeeds in the Fuser Unit
1. Make sure that the bypass tray, the automatic duplexer
and the jam releasing unit are open, and push down the
2 fuser pressure release levers until they come to a stop.
2. Open the fuser unit cover.
3. Holding the knob (A), open the transport guide
4. Remove any misfed paper inside the fuser unit.
5. Close the transport guide and the fuser unit cover.
Push up the fuser pressure release lever to return the
jam releasing unit cover, the automatic duplexer and
the bypass tray to the original positions.
