1. IMAGE SHIFT
A margin for binding is created by shifting the original image to either the right or left side. You can also
create binding margins in the center (inner margin) when using Book-Type Originals to 2-sided copies (see
"5. Book-type Originals -> 2-Sided Copies" Page 92).
Creating a Right or Left Margin

Place paper in the drawer(s).

- When using this mode in bypass copying ("Bypass Copying"
Page 60), be sure to specify the paper size.

Place the original(s).

Press the [EDIT] button to enter the edit
menu, and then press the [IMAGE SHIFT]
button.

Press the [LEFT] (or [RIGHT]) button
according to your desired binding side.
