6. Paper Misfeed in the Jam Releasing Unit

Make sure that the bypass tray and the
automatic duplexer are open. Put your
fingers into (A), push it up to release the
lock and open the jam releasing unit
cover.

Rotate the green knob as indicated by the
arrow toward the inside and remove any
misfed paper.

Return the jam releasing unit cover, the
automatic duplexer and the bypass tray to
the original positions.
- Be sure to close both sides of the automatic duplexer firmly.
7. Paper Misfeed in the Fuser Unit

Make sure that the bypass tray, the
automatic duplexer and the jam releasing
unit are open, and push down the 2 fuser
pressure release levers until they come to
a stop.
Be sure to perform step 1 without fail.
DO NOT touch the fuser unit and the metal area around it. Since
they are very hot, you could be burned or the shock could cause an
injury to your hand in the equipment.
