Basic Procedures
This section describes the basic procedure to send a fax. For details of each operation, see the
page indicated in the procedure as required.

Place the original(s).
Check the original size and scanning range, etc. Place the original(s) on the original
glass, ADF (Automatic Document Feeder : Only for e-STUDIO2505F), or RADF
(Reversing Automatic Document Feeder : Only for e-STUDIO2507 Series) in the
correct direction. (The illustration above shows the original placed on the original
glass.)

Press [FAX].
The fax screen is displayed. If you leave the screen unattended for the period of the
auto clear setting time (45 sec. by manufacturer default), the screen returns to the
default one automatically.

Set the transmission conditions as required.
Set the transmission conditions such as resolution, original mode and exposure, as
required.
