Duplex
In the Duplex menu, you can set Two-Sided printing (printing on both sides of a sheet).
1) Print on Both Sides
Select this check box to print on both sides of the paper. When this box is selected, select the binding direction at the
[Binding] option.
2) Binding
This sets the type of binding for Two-sided printed pages.
- Long-Edge Binding
— Select this to bind along the long edge side of paper. The direction to be printed on the
back side of the paper differs depending on the orientation.
- Short-Edge Binding — Select this to bind along the short edge side of paper. The direction to be printed on the
back side of the paper differs depending on the orientation.
Output Options
In the Output Options menu, you can save a print job as a file.
1) Save as File
Select this check box to save a print job as a file. When this box is selected, select the file type at the [Format] box.
2) Format
This sets the format to save a file.
- PDF
— Select this to save a print job as a PDF file.
- PostScript — Select this to save a print job as a PS file.
