Installing the keyboard
The following describes the procedure for installing the keyboard. (See Figure 4-10 to 4-13.)
1. Place the keyboard face down on the palm rest.
2. Connect the keyboard flexible cable to the connector CN3230 on the system board.
3. Install the keyboard cover and secure it with the following screw. (Insert the guide
of the keyboard cover first)
• M2.5×3.0S S-THIN HEAD screw ×1
CAUTION: Extra portion of the keyboard cable must be put under the keyboard flexible
cover.
4. Turn the keyboard face up and set it in place. Make sure that there is no gap between
the keyboard and edge of the palm rest.
5. Secure the keyboard with the following screws.
• M2.0×3.0S BIND screw ×2
6. Install the keyboard holder while engaging the latches.
