Introduction
The next generation Toshiba Integrated Control System TOSDIC-CIE DS is an integrated production
system that combines the de-facto standard and Toshiba's original control technology. In addition to
Toshiba's advanced control technology and computer technology, a standard multi-vendor network and
easy-to-use integrated engineering tools are adopted to achieve a highly reliable system in an open
environment.
This manual describes the specifications and handling method of the loop system components that
correspond to TOSDIC VLCPXn cards.
The following figure shows an example of system configuration when TOSDIC-AS is updated to
CIEMAC-DS.
