Chapter 2. Hardware Installation
2.1 Preparation
Before you start, you should prepare the following items:
¾ One printer
¾ One printer cable
¾ One wireless router / Access Point (optional)
¾ A PC with wireless adapter installed
¾ One Windows-based computer with print server setup CD
2.2 Typologies
2.2.1 Ad-Hoc
In this mode, there’s no any center of the wireless network, and every host is connecting with each
other. The host which wants to print a document will communicate directly with the TL-WPS510U.

2.2.2 Infrastructure
In this mode, the wireless router is the center of the wireless network. Every host, TL-WPS510U
included will communicate with the wireless router. The hosts communicate with TL-WPS510U
through the wireless router.
