6. APPLICATION
6.1 Travsafe
®
is comprised of two sub-assemblies: the Travsafe
®
horizontal lifeline system hardware and the
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), as shown in Figure 1.

provides horizontal fall protection for one or more persons fitted
with their PPE. A system may slope up to 15° maximum. The path of the
wire ropes may follow curves.

®
provides continuous protection of persons against falling as
they move along without their having to unfasten themselves from the
system as they pass over the intermediate anchors. With the two wire
ropes the traveler is guided perfectly as it passes over the anchors so
that the user does not have to help it move manually. The user therefore
has both hands free to perform his work.
