Installation - Mechanical
CAUTION
●
The user needs to regularly test the water quality before the installation and during the operation to ensure that
the water quality meets the requirements of the above table. Once the water quality exceeds the allowable range
for a long time, it’s possibility of corrosion leakage and serious scaling for the heat exchanger.
●
Any item with corrosion tendency show that long-term water quality exceeding the allowable range can lead to
corrosion leakage of the heat exchanger, even lower the performance or aect normal operation.
●
Any item with a tendency to scale down indicates that the water quality exceeds the allowable range for a
long time, which will lead to serious scaling of the heat exchanger, aect the heat exchange performance, and
directly lead to the decrease of the cooling (heating) capability of the unit.
●
The loss caused by the user’s water quality problem shall be borne by the user.
Water ow and pressure drop
The water ow through the unit must meet the requirements of the unit. If the water ow rate entering the heat exchanger is
lower than rated water ow, the heat transfer eect will be reduced, resulting in the loss of control of the expansion valve or
unit shuto by low-pressure limit. Conversely, if the water ow rate is higher than rated water ow, it will erode the evaporator.
Model Rated Water Flow(m3/h) Water Pressure Drop (with lter)/kPa Connection
CXAU065 9.7 55 Rc 2
CXAU130 19.4 39 Rc 2-1/2
Notes:
1. Rated water ow rate of the unit in chiller application
2. Without built-in ow switch. If the temperature dierence of the inlet and outlet water reaches 5 °C when running at full
frequency, the rated water ow meets requirements.
3. The water ow can be checked according to whether the built-in ow switch of the unit is on or o.
CAUTION
The water ow rate of the unit should not be lower than the rated water ow, and the water ow rate should be
checked to reach the rated water ow during commissioning. Low water ow rate than request will aect the
performance of the unit and reduce the reliability of the unit. During operation, water lter needs to be cleaned
regularly to avoid lower water ow rate, which could result in lower unit performance, low water rate warning,
leaving water temperature exceeds the allowable range, freezing of the heat exchanger and even the unit damage.
