General Information
Our rental air handling units are custom Trane air handlers
that have been modified for use as rental units. The
majority of the modifications are related to framing for
rigging purposes, connection of chilled water piping, and
temporary duct connection.
RSAU0025F0 and RSAU0062F0 Rental Air
Handlers
These air handling units contain only chilled water coils
and do not have heating capability. Each unit has been
selected for use with 100% outside air. Return plenums
can be field fabricated by others if required.
An MP580 controller with touch screen display and
wi
reless
zone sensor is included with each unit. In
addition, each unit includes a Trane TR1 variable
frequency drive (VFD) that controls the fan motor. For
additional information on the unit controls see “Controls
Information”.
RSAU0025F1, RSAU0050F1, and RSAU0062F1
Rental Air Handlers
These AHUs contain both chilled water and hot water coils
for year-round operation. Each unit has been selected for
use with 100% outside air, but include return plenums and
dampers to allow for 100% return air as well.
A Trane TR2 variable frequency drive (VFD) is included to
control
the fan motor. The VFD is controlled with a
potentiometer dial. For additional information on the unit
controls see "Controls Information."
RSAU0025F2, RSAU0050F2, & RSAU0062F2
Rental Air Handlers
These AHU's contain a single water coil that can be used
for hot water or chilled water operation. Each unit has
been selected for use with 100% outside air. Return
connections and dampers allow for 100% return air as
well.
Two Trane TR200 variable frequency drives(VFD) are
in
cluded
to control the dual plenum fans. Both VFD's
receive input from a single potentiometer dial for fan
speed. For additional information on the unit controls, see
"Controls Information".
