• If you attach a rack or seat that is incompatible, it could come loose or come off unex-
pectedly, cause the child to come in contact with moving parts or fall, and lead to severe
injury or death.
• Do not mount a clamp to a bicycle frame that is not equipped for it. The frame material
may become damaged resulting in unsafe conditions.
• Check the seat attachment or connection to your bike before every ride.
Dress children for the ride
• Make sure the child wears protective gear, especially an approved, properly tted helmet
whenever possible. Make sure to comply with local laws.
• Dress children riding in the cargo area warmer than you dress yourself and protect them
from the weather.
