XCN-1050 Display System
Quick Reference Card
The XCN-1050™ display is a touchscreen platform for precision agriculture.
THE PRECISION-IQ HOME SCREEN
Tap the Precision-IQ™ icon to launch the application:
The Home screen displays by default:
Emergency Stop - Tap the Emergency Stop icon
from any screen to stop all activities controlled by the
display.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN - SETUP PROCEDURES
Check the System details to ensure all equipment you have
connected appears in the list and with a green check. Before you
enter the Run screen to complete any work, these items must be
set up:
• GNSS
• Vehicle
• Implement
• Material
• Field
• Task
Note: A warning symbol next to an entry eld means the value
is missing or incorrect. Make a valid entry to clear the warning.
GNSS Setup
To congure your GNSS setup:
1. From the Home screen, tap the GNSS tile:
By default, GNSS is set up for Autonomous correction.
2. Tap Edit to set options for Corrections, CAN Messaging, and
NMEA Messaging. Your selections are automatically saved.
3. When you are satised with your changes, tap Home or the
Android Back button to return to the Home screen.

Before You Begin - Selection Process

Select a Vehicle

Select a vehicle from the list to update the vehicle screen with its relevant details.

Select an Implement

Select an implement from the list to view its details; must be selected before material or task.

Select a Material

Select a material from the available channels and lists, updating the materials screen.

Select a Field

Change Vehicle Perspective

Tap the vehicle icon to change view perspective, orientation, or zoom level in the Run screen.

Ending a Run

Tap the Stop button on the Home screen to stop the current operation task.

Guidance Mapping Procedures

Auto Close Settings

Enable auto close for boundaries and headlands in Settings to automatically close areas.

Create a Boundary

Define a field boundary by recording its perimeter, with options for auto-close.

Create a Headland

Use headland pattern to complete infield and provide room for turns, with auto-close options.

Create a Pivot

Use the Pivot pattern to drive concentric circles around a center pivot.

Create an AB Guidance Line

Create parallel straight lines for driving fields, the simplest form of guidance line.

Create an A+ Directional Guidance Line

Create guidance lines parallel to a previous AB line for adjacent fields or roads.

Guidance Mapping Patterns

Create a Curved Line

Use the Curve pattern for working fields with gentle curves.

Create a Landmark Line

Identify continuous field elements to avoid, such as fences or ditches.

Create a Landmark Point

Identify singular field elements to avoid, such as trees or rocks.

Create a Landmark Area

Identify entire regions to avoid, like ponds or marshes, for productive or non-productive areas.

Automatic Data Transfer

Enable wireless transfer via Wi-Fi and Office Sync for automatic data collection to your office.

Manual Data Transfer

Transfer data manually using a USB drive by selecting components on the Data Transfer screen.

Configure Autopilot

Set up a vehicle for auto guidance by selecting Autopilot and configuring its details.
