Pairing a GoPro Camera
Note
The GoPro app must be installed on the
phone, and the GoPro camera must have
been paired with the phone using the
GoPro app before attempting to pair the
GoPro camera with the motorcycle.
To pair a GoPro camera with the
motorcycle:
1. On the GoPro camera:
– Switch the camera on.
– Access the Dashboard.
– Select Connections > Connect
Device > GoPro App.
Refer to the manufacturer’s user
manuals to locate these controls.
2. Press the HOME button to display
the Main Menu.
3. Use the joystick to select Settings >
Bluetooth Devices > Pair Device.
The My Triumph Connectivity
Module searches for
Bluetooth
-
enabled devices within range.
To cancel the search, select Stop
Search.
4. When the GoPro camera is detected,
use the joystick to select it.
5. Press the HOME button to exit
menus.
To connect the camera to the
motorcycle:
1. On the GoPro camera:
– Switch the camera on.
– Set Wireless Connections to On.
2. On the motorcycle:
– Display the GoPro tray.
– Wait up to 15 seconds and the
instruments will show GoPro
Connected.
The tray shows the GoPro camera’s
name and battery charge status.
After the GoPro camera and the
motorcycle have been paired, they
connect automatically whenever they
are within range, provided that the
GoPro is switched on, or in standby
mode and the motorcycle has the
ignition on.
The GoPro camera has three power
modes:
• Off
• Standby
• On.
When the GoPro is connected and in
standby mode, the instruments will
show GoPro - Standby and the name of
the connected GoPro.
To wake the GoPro from standby mode,
when in the GoPro tray, press the
joystick centre for two seconds and wait
up to 15 seconds for the device to
connect.
Note
Only one GoPro camera can be paired to
the motorcycle.
Cameras made by other manufacturers
cannot be paired to the motorcycle.
