Attach the lower handle to the handle brackets and tighten with wing nuts. Lift the handle to its extended position.
Secure the control cables to the lower handle using a provided cable tie for proper routing.
Hold the blade control handle, slowly pull the starter rope, and route it into the rope guide.
Fill the gas tank up to 1/2-inch from the top and the engine with the provided oil.
Depress the blade control handle, then pull the starter rope with a quick, full arm stroke.
