  If the interior knob on your TRU-BOLT door lock will not turn, the knob or vertical tailpiece may be installed in the incorrect position. Remove the interior assembly and reposition the interior knob. With the deadbolt latch retracted, verify that the tailpiece is vertical, or if extended to 2 3/8” to 2 3/4”, check the position of the cross and ensure that the latch is not locked.
