Temperature Control Adjustments
Anaircurtaintypeofmerchandiserisaffectedbythe
temperatureandrelativehumidityofthesurrounding
ambient.
A.Theadjustmentknobandbodyofthetemperature
controlismountedtotheleftinteriorbackpanelof
thecabinet,aboutsixinchesoffofthe"floor"ofthe
cabinet,inarecessedarea,neartheevaporatorcoil.
- Toraisetheproducttemperature(warm upthe
cabinet),turnthecontrolknobcounterclockwise.
- Tolowertheproducttemperature(cool downthe
cabinet),turnthecontrolknobclockwise.
B.Iftheabovedoesnotgivedesirableresults,further
adjustmentispossibleinthefield.Disconnectpower
tothecabinet.Removethefulllengthbackpanel
thatthetemperaturecontrolismountedto:(See
figure1&2).
Thetemperatureprobeisinsertedintheleftend
oftheevaporatorcoil.
- Toraisetheproducttemperature(warmupthe
cabinet),relocatethetemp.controlprobeinthetop
tubewelllocationintheendofthecoil.
- Tolowertheproducttemperature(cooldownthe
cabinet),relocatethetemp.controlprobeinthe
bottomtubewelllocationintheendofthecoil.
NOTE
The sensor end of the temp. control should be inserted in
the tube well until it stops (bottom out). Reassemble the
lower back panel, restart the unit and set the control to
midpoint "5", for further temperature adjustment.
